Last we heard, the Realme GT Neo 6 was certified in China with two distinct model numbers – RMX3820 and RMX3823. Originally, we thought that one might be related to a vanilla Realme GT Neo 6 with a Dimensity 9200 chipset, while the other to a Pro version with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Now more specs have been posted by a certification authority for both model numbers, and it seems that both are running on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, based on the reported 3.2 GHz max CPU frequency.
The difference between the two models seems to be battery capacity and allegedly charging speed. If this holds true, we might see a Realme GT Neo 6 with a 4,600 mAh battery and the same whopping 240W charging as the GT Neo 5 and another version with a 5,200 mAh battery and 150W charging. Interestingly enough, as per the posted specs, both variants of the phone measure exactly the same – 163.13 x 75.38 x 8.86 mm and both weigh in at 205 grams.
Beyond the chipset and the battery, we currently think the Realme GT Neo 6 will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming. It reportedly has 8,12 or 16GB of RAM and 128,256,512 GB or 1TB of storage. The main camera should be a 50MP IMX890 unit with OIS, flanked by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP supplementary snapper. On the front – a 16MP selfie. As per sources, the GT Neo 6 will also sport an IR blaster and an x-axis haptic motor, and it will ship with Android 13.
Since the two models are now certified, the launch is clearly just around the corner, and we will follow Realme’s social media channels closely for the official announcement.
