For a while now we’ve seen many rumors and leaks regarding vivo’s upcoming foldables, including the fact that the official unveiling should be taking place towards the end of this month.
Today a new promotional poster has been leaked in China, and this not only confirms the rough timeframe, but gives us a date and a time as well. So, vivo’s X Fold3 series will be announced on March 26 at 7PM local time.
We’re expecting two foldables this time around, a ‘vanilla’ X Fold3 as well as the X Fold3 Pro. According to past rumors, the former model will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on board and a 5,500 mAh battery, while the Pro will get the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and a 5,800 mAh battery.
Both will be IPX8 rated for water resistance, will sport an 8.03″ folding screen, a 6.53-inch cover screen, two ultrasonic fingerprint sensors, and Android 14. The other difference between them seems to be the Pro’s use of a periscope telephoto, which the non-Pro won’t get.
