Honor France is running a promo campaign for a new model, the Honor 200 Lite, which will launch on Thursday (April 25). This is a new entry into the number series (last time we saw them, they were at 90), though the company has revealed very little about it.
It’s up on the online store with plenty of official images in three colorways. The first, Starry Blue, is exclusive to Honor.com. There are also Cyan Lake and Black.
Unfortunately, there are no specs on the site, so we can only go by what we can glean from the images. The rear has a triple camera with a 108MP main module. For reference, the previous model – the Honor 90 Lite – had a 100MP main, 5MP ultra wide and 2MP macro.
Also, check out the front – the pill-shaped punch hole indicates a double camera, with the second module being a depth sensor for 3D face scanning. This was reserved for the near-flagship Honor 90 Pro, even the regular Honor 90 didn’t have it, never mind the 90 Lite.
The price of the Honor 200 Lite is also TBA, but if you play your cards right, you can get a €30 discount. This comes with purchasing a specific Honor product on a specific day. For example, today it is the Honor Choice Earbuds X5. These cost €50, but you can get them for €20 with the current promo. Tomorrow, the item in the spotlight will be the Honor Band 7 (normally €60, but you’ll get it at half price). Here is the timeline:
More details on the promo campaign here. Note: the Honor 200 Lite (and this campaign) seem to be available only in France at the moment. We’ll keep an eye out to see if other countries join in. And check back in on Thursday for the full reveal.
