Samsung is unveiling the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 on July 10 in Paris. Recently we’ve seen some rumored European pricing for the Galaxy Z Flip6, and today a new rumor brings very similar numbers: €1,330 for the model with 256GB of storage and €1,450 for the one with 512GB. Both of these are said to have 12GB of RAM. The Flip6 will thus be over €100 more expensive than its predecessor was at launch.
Today’s leak also brings us purported European pricing for the Galaxy Z Fold6, and it’s not pretty. The foldable is said to start at a whopping €2,200 with 256GB of storage, then go up to €2,330 if you want 512GB, and €2,580 with 1TB.
Like the Flip6, all Fold6 versions are now rumored to come with 12GB of RAM. If these prices pan out, they represent about a €300 increase from the launch pricing of the Galaxy Z Fold5 last year in Europe, and that’s significant, especially seeing as how we’ve all been (very patiently) waiting for foldable prices to go down as more and more of them get produced, not go up instead.
For what it’s worth, previously leaked US pricing only went up by $100, so this might just be a big problem for those in Europe. But if we’re lucky, then tipster Max Jambor over on X is right and the actual prices will be lower than these. Let’s hope so.

The Fold6 will allegedly be offered in silver, pink, and Navy colorways, while the Flip6 gets blue, Mint, and Silver Shadow. It’s very likely that there will be more colorways on offer in other parts of the world.
The Galaxy Z Flip6 is expected to come with a 6.7-inch 120 Hz inner screen with 2,600-nit peak brightness, a 3.4″ cover display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultrawide, a 10 MP selfie snapper, and a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 25W fast wired charging.
The Fold6 will have the same chipset, a 7.6″ 120 Hz foldable screen, a triple rear camera setup (50 MP + 12 MP + 10 MP), a 10 MP cover screen selfie camera, a 4 MP under-display camera in the folding screen, and a 4,400 mAh battery with support for 25W charging.
Regarding the pricing, do note that Samsung always has some pretty enticing pre-order and trade-in deals on offer, and it seems like this time around those will definitely be needed to soften the blow of these price hikes if they do actually happen.
