Say hello to the Infinix Hot 50 Pro+ – a phone defined by its slim profile and its captivating looks.
Before we get to aesthetics, let’s do an unboxing. Infinix has packaged the Hot 50 Pro+ well – you get a 33W charger, a USB cable, a glass screen protector, and a hard plastic case.
If you live in a country where Infinix operates, you can snag a Hot 50 Pro+ in either Sleek Black, Titanium Grey, Dreamy Purple, or this newly launched special Blossom Pink version.
While the other models have either a glossy or a matte glass finish, the Blossom Pink has a vegan leather finish that’s tactile and pleasant. It’s also an intriguing color with three different shades of pink across the back.
The Infinix Hot 50 Pro+’s claim to fame is its thin and light body. At just 6.8mm, the Hot 50 Pro+ feels shockingly thin in the hand. It also immediately strikes you as being feather-light at 162 grams.
The phone doesn’t feel fragile, however, and you’d be pleased to know that it has IP54 protection against dust and splashing water.
Upfront, the Infinix Hot 50 Pro+ has a 6.78-inch AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits.
The phone runs Android 14 with XOS 14.5 on top. There’s a 6nm MediaTek Helio G100 chip with 8GB of RAM (expandable up to 16GB with the help of the inner storage) and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging.
The Infinix Hot 50 Pro+ is a 4G-only phone but that’s unlikely to bother its targeted audience. Infinix will sell the Hot 50 Pro+ across Africa, parts of South America, and South Asia.
