The iQOO Neo8 and Neo8 Pro both landed back in May, and now it seems like the vivo sub-brand is getting ready to unveil their successors, the Neo9 and Neo9 Pro.
According to a new rumor from usually reliable Digital Chat Station over on Weibo, the Neo9 will have a 6.78-inch “1.5K” resolution screen with narrow bezels, and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
For comparison, note that the Neo8 had the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 at the helm, so this is a clear upgrade. The main camera of the Neo9 is alleged to feature the Sony IMX920 sensor, which just made its debut in the vivo X100 earlier this month, and it will have 120W fast wired charging just like its predecessor.
The sketch you can see above purportedly depicts the iQOO Neo9, which will apparently come with rear glass curved on all four sides, and a dual color combination. The phone will be focused on performance and will be thinner than the Neo8.
Now that the leaks have started, we assume we’ll find out even more about the iQOO Neo9 in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
