Thanks to multiple specs leaks, we already have a pretty good idea of the kind of hardware to expect from the upcoming Rarz 50 pair. Thanks to prolific leakster @evlekas, we also have detailed and very official-looking renders of both phones.
Let’s kick things off with the vanilla Motorola Razr 50, which will also likely be known as the Moto Razr 2024 in some markets. The upgrade in design compared to the predecessor is pretty substantial. Notice the leather finish on the back for an extra premium look and feel. The larger external display instantly stands out, now sitting at 3.63 inches in diagonal. It is a pOLED panel.
The inside display is a 6.9-inch pOLED unit with 1080 x 2640-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of cameras, you are looking at a 50MP main shooter, a 13MP ultrawide, and a 13MP punch-hole selfie. Internals are said to include a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X 5G chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The battery will allegedly be 4,200 mAh, and the entire phone will weigh 188 grams and measure 171 x 74 x 7.2 mm unfolded.
The Razr 50 is expected to cost around EUR 899.
Moving on to the more premium Razr 50 Ultra, also likely called the Razr+ 2024. It has a larger still 4-inch pOLED cover display and also features a premium build complete with a leather back. Color options include green, peach and blue.
The inside display has the same dimensions as the regular Razr 50 with a 6.9-inch diagonal and a 1080 x 2640-pixel resolution. However, this pOLED panel will offer a 165Hz refresh rate. For cameras, you are looking at a 50MP main snapper, another 50MP 2x telephoto cam, and a 32MP punch-hole selfie on the inside. The Razr 50 Ultra will likely rock a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, alongside 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There will likely be a 512GB variant as well. The battery is said to have a 4,000 mAh capacity and support wireless charging. Other interesting features include IPX8 ingress protection and Hello UI on top of Android 14, complete with AI-powered photo and video capturing and editing tools.
The Razr 50 Ultra is expected to retail for around EUR 1,200 in Europe and USD 999 in the US for the 12GB/256GB variant.
Both phones should be released globally in June. Even more images are available at the source links for you to check out if you are interested.
