Oppo is teasing the Indian launch of its Reno10 series by touting the Reno10 Pro+’ 64MP periscope zoom camera.
It’s a 64MP f/2.5 periscope with a half-inch (1/2″) sensor and 0.7µm pre-binned pixels. It’s a 3x zoom with a 120x hybrid zoom option. Oppo says its periscope is 0.96mm thinner than competitor’s periscopes, and that it’s the highest megapixel unit in the segment.
The other cameras are expected to be a 50MP f1/8 main camera with a Sony IMX890 with a 1/1.56″ sensor, an 8MP 2/2 IMX355 1/4″ sensor, and a 32MP selfie camera.
Oppo unveiled the Reno10 series in China. There are three units – the Reno10, the Reno10 Pro, and the Reno10 Pro+. They are all expected to launch globally, including in India, but we may see some changes – the Pro model could swap the Dimensity 8200 for the Snapdragon 778G.
The Pro+ could end up with the same specs. That would mean a 6.74-inch 120Hz OLED, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with up to 16GB of RAM, and a 4,700mAh battery with 100W charging.
