Following the Red Magic 8 Pro which launched back in December of 2022, comes our first bit of news on its successor – the Red Magic 8S Pro which is rumored to be one of the first devices to launch with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset.
Red Magic 8S Pro AnTuTu benchmark run
Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station shared a live look at the Red Magic 8S Pro running AnTuTu and we can see it managed a chart-topping 1,704,113 combined score thanks to the overclocked chipset. The device (nubia NX729S_V1A) scored 436,089 points on the CPU test and 642,666 points on the GPU side. The memory test (318,418 pts) and the UX test (306,940 pts) were equally impressive.
In addition to the benchmark leak, the tipster suggests Red Magic 8S Pro will bring 170W wired fast charging, an active cooling fan as well as several performance tuning and system optimization features. DCS also claims Nubia is readying an Android gaming tablet that may debut alongside the Red Magic 8S Pro.
