Another week, another round of One UI 6 updates are going out, based on Android 14 of course – Samsung isn’t showing any signs of slowing down its insane update pace.
Today we’re talking about the Galaxy F54 and the Galaxy M53, both of which are currently receiving the major software update in India.
Samsung Galaxy M53
The M53’s build arrives over-the-air as a 2.39GB download, is labeled M536BXXU4DWL2 and it includes the November 2023 security patch level, which isn’t very Samsung-like as the Korean company generally keeps these up to date. Here’s hoping the F54 will get the December security update by the end of this month.
The F54’s build is labeled E546BXXU3BWL1 and it also only has the November security patch. Maybe we’ve praised Samsung for too long for ensuring that these are up to date? Hopefully this is just a glitch, and not a sign of things to come. Like the M53’s, the F54’s update is a pretty hefty 2.37GB download, so make sure the network you are grabbing either of these from can handle it.
