A vivo phone was launched in several Asian countries under the name Y100 4G. The smartphone comes with a big battery with plenty of fast charging and is powered by a Snapdragon 685. These specs sound familiar because it is not a new smartphone; in a true vivo fashion, this is a vivo V30 Lite, renamed for different markets.
The Y100 4G shares a footprint with a handful of other vivo devices, but most of them have a 5G-enabled Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and an 8 MP ultrawide camera that acts as a secondary to the 50 MP main cam. Here the camera combo is 50 MP + 2 MP.
Vivo equipped this phone, as well as eight (!) others, with a 6.67” AMOLED screen, a 5,000 mAh battery, and the Y100 4G supports 80W fast charging. Other specs include Funtouch 14 on top of Android 14, IP54 rating, and dual stereo speakers.
The Y100 4G is offered in Crystal Black and Breeze Green. The price for the 8/256 GB version is around $250, but due to the exchange rate, it might fluctuate in different countries.
